Regaine® For Men Extra Strength - 60ml

Regaine® For Men Extra Strength is a 5% minoxidil cutaneous (scalp) solution used to treat common hereditary hair loss (male pattern hair loss) in men aged 18–65 years. It is designed to help prevent further hair loss and encourage hair regrowth, and works best for thinning at the top/crown of the scalp.

What to expect

• Results take time. With twice-daily use, regrowth may be seen after several months; if no regrowth after 12 months, it is unlikely to work and you should stop using it.
• A temporary increase in shedding can occur early on as the hair growth cycle changes.
• If regrowth occurs, you need to keep using it to maintain results; stopping may lead to loss of regrown hair within a few months.

Pack size

• 60ml bottle (approximately 1 month supply when used as directed). 

Use exactly as per the enclosed leaflet.

Dose

• Apply 1ml to the affected scalp area twice daily, with about a 12-hour interval (for example morning and evening).
• Your hair and scalp should be thoroughly dry before application.
• Use one of the supplied applicators, then replace the child-resistant cap after use.

Key points

• Do not exceed the recommended dose.
• Wash hands after use.
• Apply only to the scalp (not to other areas of the body).
• Continuous use is needed to improve and maintain regrowth.

Do not use

• If you are a woman (this product is for men).
• If you are under 18 or over 65.
• If you have high blood pressure (treated or untreated), scalp abnormalities (including psoriasis or sunburn), a shaved scalp, or you are using occlusive dressings/other topical scalp medicines.
• If you are allergic to minoxidil, ethanol, or propylene glycol.

Important warnings

• Flammable: do not use while smoking or near naked flames/strong heat sources; handle and dispose of carefully.
• Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, or broken/irritated skin. Ethanol may cause burning/irritation; rinse well with cool water if accidental contact occurs.
• Propylene glycol may cause skin irritation.
• Stop use and seek advice urgently if you develop symptoms that could suggest unwanted absorption/system effects (for example chest pain, rapid heartbeat, faintness/dizziness, sudden weight gain, swelling of hands/feet, or persistent scalp irritation).

• Scalp irritation such as itching, dryness, redness or flaking; unwanted hair growth on other areas if the solution spreads.
