Regaine® For Men Extra Strength Scalp Foam - 73ml

Regaine® For Men Extra Strength Scalp Foam is a 5% w/w minoxidil medicine used to treat common hereditary hair loss (androgenetic alopecia) in men aged 18–49 years, helping to prevent further hair loss and support hair regrowth. It works best for thinning at the top/crown of the scalp and is less likely to help if hair loss is long-standing or extensive.

Important expectations

• Hair regrowth is gradual. Keep using as directed to see and maintain results.
• Temporary increased shedding can occur early on as the growth cycle changes.

Who it’s for

• Men 18–49 years only.

Dose

• Apply 1g of foam (about half a capful) to the affected scalp area twice daily, about 12 hours apart.

How to apply

1. Ensure hair and scalp are thoroughly dry.
2. Dispense 1g (half a capful) onto your fingers and massage into the scalp (not the hair).
3. Wash hands thoroughly after application.
4. Do not apply more than twice a day. Using more will not improve results and may increase side effects.

Do not use

• If you are female, under 18 or over 49.
• If your hair loss is sudden/patchy, the cause is unknown, due to drug treatment, or you have total baldness.
• If you have high blood pressure.
• If you have scalp conditions (including psoriasis or sunburn), a shaved scalp, or you are using certain medicated scalp products or occlusive dressings/bandages.

Take care

• Extremely flammable aerosol / pressurised container: keep away from heat, sparks, open flames and smoking; store and dispose of carefully.
• Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, mucous membranes, and cut/damaged skin. The product contains ethanol which can sting; rinse well with cool tap water if contact occurs.
• Cetyl alcohol / stearyl alcohol may cause local skin reactions (e.g., contact dermatitis).
• Stop using and seek urgent advice if you develop signs of unwanted absorption such as chest pain, rapid heartbeat, faintness/dizziness, sudden unexplained weight gain, swelling of hands/feet, or persistent scalp irritation/redness.

Possible side effects

• Scalp irritation (itching, dryness, redness), changes in hair texture/colour, and early increased shedding can occur.
