Product Overview
Rapid freeze treatment with precision applicators to remove common warts and verrucas on hands or feet. Starts to work in 40 seconds; usually sheds in 10–14 days.
Description
Scholl Freeze Verruca & Wart Remover is an at-home freezing (cryotherapy) treatment for common warts and verrucas. Warts and verrucas are caused by a virus, and this kit works in a similar way to professional freezing by rapidly freezing the core of the wart/verruca using a precise, targeted applicator.
Key benefits and features:
- Clinically proven and designed to start working in 40 seconds
- Precise targeted action with precision applicator buds
- Many warts/verrucas can be removed with as little as one treatment (some verrucas may need additional applications)
- After treatment, a blister may form; the verruca or wart usually falls off within 10–14 days as new healthy skin grows
- Suitable for treating hands and feet (common warts and verrucas)
How to Use
Important: Use a household timer and follow the instructions carefully. Apply only to the wart/verruca.
- Choose the applicator bud that best matches the size of the wart/verruca and push it firmly into the larger opening of the white cap.
- Place the can upright on a stable surface. Do not hold the can near your face, body, or clothing. Use in a well-ventilated area, away from heat/ignition sources.
- Fit the cap onto the can as directed and press the cap down firmly for 5 seconds (some guidance allows 3–5 seconds depending on instructions).
- Remove the cap with the bud attached. Wait 15 seconds with the bud pointing downwards before applying (this allows the liquid to collect and reach the required freezing temperature).
- With the wart/verruca facing upwards, place the tip of the applicator bud on the centre of the lesion for 30–40 seconds. Do not apply longer than 40 seconds. Do not dab.
- Discard the applicator bud after single use.
Repeat treatment: Do not treat the same wart/verruca more than 4 times in total.
Ingredients
Contents: Dimethyl Ether, Propane, Isobutane.
Propellant: Hydrocarbon.
Side Effects & Warnings
- Not suitable if you have diabetes or poor blood circulation. Seek medical/podiatry advice before self-treating.
- Do not use on children under 4 years old.
- Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- Use only with the applicators provided. Misuse may cause burns/scarring of healthy tissue or eye injury. Avoid contact with eyes.
- A blister may form after application; this is part of the freezing process. The treated area usually sheds within 10–14 days.
- Extremely flammable aerosol and pressurised container: keep away from heat/sparks/flames, do not pierce or burn, protect from sunlight, do not expose above 50°C.
- Use only in well-ventilated areas and do not breathe spray. Deliberate inhalation misuse can be harmful or fatal.
- Stop use if significant irritation occurs. Seek advice if the lesion bleeds, changes appearance, is painful/infected, you are unsure it is a wart/verruca, or it persists despite treatment.
