Description
Scopoderm® Travel Sickness Patches are designed to prevent nausea, vomiting and dizziness associated with travel sickness. Each patch delivers scopolamine (hyoscine) through the skin in a controlled manner, providing continuous protection for up to 72 hours.
The discreet, easy-to-use patch is applied behind the ear and is particularly suitable for long journeys, such as cruises, flights or extended road travel, where regular tablets may be inconvenient.

How to Use
Always follow the patient information leaflet and pharmacist advice.
Adults
- Apply one patch to clean, dry, hairless skin behind one ear.
- Apply at least 5–6 hours before travel, ideally the evening before.
- Each patch works for up to 72 hours.
- If further protection is needed, remove the used patch and apply a new patch behind the other ear.
Important usage advice
- Wash hands thoroughly after applying or removing the patch.
- Avoid touching your eyes after handling the patch.
- Do not cut the patch.
- Remove the patch once travel is complete.
Not recommended for children.

Warnings & Precautions
- Pharmacy-only medicine – suitability should be assessed by a pharmacist.
- May cause drowsiness, blurred vision or dry mouth.
- Do not drive or operate machinery if affected.
- Avoid alcohol, as it may increase side effects.
- Speak to a pharmacist or doctor before use if you:
- Have glaucoma
- Have urinary retention or prostate problems
- Have heart, kidney or liver conditions
- Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless advised by a healthcare professional.
Possible Side Effects
Common:
- Dry mouth
- Drowsiness
- Blurred vision
Less common:
- Dizziness
- Skin irritation at application site
Rare:
- Confusion, agitation or hallucinations (more likely in older adults)
Stop use and seek medical advice immediately if severe confusion, eye pain, or allergic reactions occur.
Storage
- Store below 25°C
- Keep patches in original sachet until use
- Keep out of the sight and reach of children
