Seabond Original Denture Fixative Seals – 15 Uppers are specially designed adhesive seals for upper dentures that offer a secure, comfortable all-day hold without the mess, odour or irritation commonly associated with traditional denture pastes and creams.

Unlike traditional pastes that can ooze and attract food particles, Seabond uses a thin, cushion-soft adhesive structure that activates with moisture in the mouth to produce long-lasting adhesion. The wafer-like seals help protect gum tissue, help prevent food from becoming trapped under the denture, and can improve confidence when eating, speaking or socialising.

Ensure your upper denture is clean and completely dry before applying a Seabond seal.

• Remove a seal from the pack and trim any excess with scissors to fit the shape of your denture.

• Place the seal with the white side up and the pink side down against the denture fitting surface.

• Lightly moisten the adhesive side with a few drops of water — do not oversaturate.

• Gently tap the seal into place with your fingertip and insert the denture into your mouth.

• Bite down evenly for around 5 seconds to ensure a secure hold.

• At end of day, remove the seal by lifting a corner and peeling away; discard and replace with a fresh seal the next day.

Seabond Original Denture Fixative Seals are mechanical adhesive seals (not medicinal products). The materials used provide comfortable adhesion and non-messy denture retention:

• Fabric (Cellulose Acetate and Rayon) – flexible backing material.

• PEG-90M – adhesive polymer.

• Cellulose Gum – contributes to seal formation.

• Algin – helps adhesion with moisture.

• Chlorophyllin-Copper Complex, CI 16035 – colour components, no active drug.

These seals do not contain medicinal actives and are intended for mechanical use only, complementing regular denture hygiene. 

Precautions:

• For use on upper dentures only — do not use on lower or partial dentures unless specified.

• Do not ingest the seals; for external use on denture surfaces only.

• If you experience persistent irritation, redness, soreness or discomfort, discontinue use and consult a dental professional.

• Poorly fitting dentures may impair the effectiveness of Seabond seals and cause discomfort; seek advice from a dentist.

Storage & Hygiene:
