Description
StoCare Remove Medical Adhesive Remover Spray (50ml) is a silicone-based, alcohol-free spray designed to help ease removal of adhesive medical appliances and dressings while helping reduce discomfort and skin damage caused by repeated adhesive removal.
The fine spray works at the edge of the appliance/dressing to help loosen adhesion so it can be removed more gently. It can be sprayed at any angle, dries in seconds, and once dry it is intended not to affect adhesion of the next appliance.
Common uses include removal of:
- Stoma appliances (flanges)
- Dressings and bandages
- Medical tapes
- Lines/tubes/cannulae dressings
- Insulin pumps and blood glucose monitors
- HRT patches and continence devices
How to Use
Use only as directed.
- Peel back the edge of the medical appliance or dressing.
- Spray onto the revealed skin along the edge.
- Wait a few seconds, then gently remove the appliance/dressing (top to bottom).
- Use additional spray as needed to continue loosening the adhesive.
- Allow to dry before applying the next appliance/dressing.
Practical tips:
- Avoid excessive rubbing on fragile skin.
- If any adhesive residue remains, it may need a dedicated residue remover wipe as part of your normal dressing-change routine.
