Strigol® Orange Flavour Oral Solution is a stimulant laxative used for the short-term relief of occasional constipation.
It contains sodium picosulfate, which works by stimulating the muscles of the bowel to help produce a bowel movement. Strigol® is particularly useful when a gentle fibre laxative has not been effective and a faster, more predictable result is required.
The pleasant orange-flavoured liquid sachets provide convenient, single-dose administration and are designed to work overnight, helping to restore regular bowel movement by the next morning.

How to Use
- Take the contents of one sachet by mouth.
- Can be taken neat or mixed with water.
Recommended dose (adults and children over 10 years):
- 1 sachet once daily, preferably at bedtime
Strigol® usually works within 6–12 hours.
Do not use for more than one week unless advised by a pharmacist or GP.
- Ensure adequate fluid intake during treatment.

Side Effects & Warnings

- Do not use if you have intestinal obstruction, bowel perforation, severe abdominal pain of unknown cause, dehydration, or inflammatory bowel disease.
- Not recommended for children under 10 years unless advised by a healthcare professional.
- Consult a pharmacist or GP before use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, elderly, or taking other medicines regularly.
Possible side effects may include abdominal cramping, diarrhoea, nausea or dehydration, particularly with excessive or prolonged use.
Important:
Stop use and seek medical advice if constipation persists, worsens, or is accompanied by severe pain, vomiting, rectal bleeding or unexplained weight loss.
