Description
Sudocrem Antiseptic Healing Cream – 400g is a multi-purpose antiseptic skin cream designed to soothe, protect and support the healing of a wide range of skin conditions. It is best known for the prevention and treatment of nappy rash, but is also suitable for use on eczema-prone skin, pressure sores, chilblains, minor cuts and grazes, sunburn and minor burns.
The unique formulation combines antiseptic, healing and soothing ingredients, forming a protective barrier on the skin while allowing it to breathe. The large 400g tub is ideal for family use, nurseries, care settings and long-term skin management.

How to Use
Directions for use (UK pharmacy-aligned guidance):
- Ensure the skin is clean and dry before application.
- Apply a thin layer of Sudocrem using clean hands.
- Massage gently into the affected area.
- Use as often as required, particularly at every nappy change for babies.
General advice:
- Only a small amount is needed; the cream should be almost transparent on the skin.
- Suitable for adults, children and babies.
- If symptoms persist or worsen, seek advice from a pharmacist or GP.
Ingredients
Active ingredients (w/w):
- Zinc oxide 15.25% – skin protectant and mild antiseptic
- Benzyl alcohol 0.39% – antiseptic and local anaesthetic
- Benzyl benzoate 1.01% – antiseptic
- Benzyl cinnamate 0.15% – antiseptic
Other ingredients include:
Lanolin (hypoallergenic grade), purified water, paraffin, microcrystalline wax, propylene glycol and fragrance.

- For external use only.
- Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
- Do not use if you are allergic to lanolin, benzyl alcohol or any other ingredients.
- Stop use if irritation, redness or sensitivity develops.
- Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
Possible Side Effects
- Sudocrem is generally well tolerated.
- Rarely, local skin irritation or allergic reactions may occur, particularly in individuals sensitive to lanolin or fragrance components.
If severe irritation or an allergic reaction occurs, discontinue use and seek medical advice.
Storage
- Store below 25°C.
- Keep the lid tightly closed.
