Description
Systane Ultra Lubricant Eye Drops (10ml) are a sterile lubricating eye drop designed to provide fast-acting relief for dry, tired and irritated eyes, helping to hydrate the ocular surface and support comfort throughout the day.
Formulated with Alcon’s HP-Guar system, Systane Ultra helps create a protective lubricating layer on the eye surface to reduce dryness-related discomfort such as burning, irritation and grittiness.
Suitable for contact lens wearers: can be used while wearing contact lenses (follow directions).
Pack size: 10ml multi-dose bottle.
How to Use
For use in the eyes only.
- Shake well before use.
- Instil 1 or 2 drops into the affected eye(s) as needed and blink.
Contact lenses
- May be used for dry eye associated with contact lens wear by applying prior to inserting lenses and after lens removal (or as advised by your optometrist).
If using other eye products
- Leave a gap between different eye products (follow the directions on each product). If using prescribed eye medicines, follow prescriber advice.
After opening
- Discard any remaining solution 6 months after first opening.
Ingredients
Systane Ultra Lubricant Eye Drops contain a sterile solution including:
- Polyethylene glycol 400
- Propylene glycol
- Hydroxypropyl guar (HP-Guar)
- Sorbitol
- Aminomethylpropanol
- Boric acid
- Potassium chloride
- Sodium chloride
- Preservative: POLYQUAD® (polyquaternium-1 / polidronium chloride) 0.001%

Side Effects & Warnings
Do not use
- If you are allergic to any ingredient.
- If the solution becomes cloudy or changes colour.
Important warnings (hygiene & safe use)
- To reduce contamination risk, do not touch the dropper tip to the eye, eyelids, fingers or any surface.
- Replace the cap after use and store as directed on the pack.
- Temporary blurred vision can occur after instillation; wait until vision clears before driving or using machinery.
Seek advice urgently (pharmacist/optometrist/GP/111) if you develop:
- Eye pain, vision changes, marked redness, light sensitivity, swelling/discharge, or if symptoms persist or worsen.
