Systane Ultra UD Eye Drops - Pack of 30

Systane Ultra UD Eye Drops are sterile, preservative-free lubricating eye drops supplied in single-use 0.7ml vials to provide temporary relief of burning and irritation due to dry eyes. The unit-dose format helps maintain hygiene by providing a fresh, sterile dose each time and is especially suitable for people who prefer to avoid preservatives.

Systane Ultra UD is designed to help restore comfort and protect the ocular surface by forming a moisturising layer over the eye, supporting longer-lasting relief when symptoms are triggered by everyday factors such as screen use, dry environments, heating/air-conditioning, wind and pollution.

Key features

For use in the eyes only.

• Twist off the top of one single-use vial.
• Instil 1–2 drops into the affected eye(s) as needed, then blink.
• Discard the vial after use. Do not reuse an opened unit dose.

Good pharmacy practice (to reduce contamination risk)

1. Wash and dry hands.
2. Avoid touching the vial tip to your eye, eyelid, fingers or any surface.
3. Apply drops, blink, then dispose of the vial immediately.

Contact lenses

• If you wear contact lenses, follow your optician’s advice. Some guidance for Systane Ultra products describes use for contact-lens associated dryness (often before inserting lenses and after removing lenses). Use on lenses only if your eye care professional advises. 

Systane Ultra UD Eye Drops are a sterile solution containing:

• Polyethylene glycol 400
• Propylene glycol
• Hydroxypropyl guar
• Sorbitol
• Aminomethylpropanol
• Boric acid
• Potassium chloride
• Sodium chloride

Do not use

• If you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
• If the solution becomes cloudy or changes colour.

Warnings

• To avoid contamination, do not touch the vial tip to any surface and do not allow it to contact the eye or eyelids.
• Single-use only: discard after opening/use.
• Stop use and seek advice urgently (pharmacist/optometrist/GP/111) if you develop eye pain, changes in vision, persistent/worsening redness or irritation, or if symptoms persist or last more than 72 hours.
• Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
