Description
Vertigon® 25mg Tablets contain meclozine hydrochloride, an antihistamine used to help relieve the symptoms associated with vertigo and balance disorders, including dizziness, nausea, vomiting and a sensation of spinning. It works by reducing the effects of abnormal signals from the inner ear to the brain.
Vertigon may also be used to help prevent motion-related dizziness and nausea where appropriate. The 28-tablet pack is suitable for short-term use or intermittent symptom management when advised by a pharmacist or healthcare professional.

How to Use
Always follow the patient information leaflet or advice from a pharmacist.
Dosage (general guidance):
- Adults:
- The usual dose is 25mg, taken once to three times daily, depending on symptoms.
Administration advice:
- Swallow tablets with water.
- Can be taken with or without food.
- May cause drowsiness; avoid alcohol.
Important advice:
- Do not exceed the recommended dose.
- If symptoms persist or worsen, seek advice from a pharmacist or GP.

Lactose monohydrate, maize starch, povidone, magnesium stearate.

Warnings & Precautions
- May cause drowsiness. Do not drive, cycle or operate machinery if affected.
- Avoid alcohol, as it may increase drowsiness.
- Do not use if you are allergic to meclozine or any other ingredients.
- Use with caution if you have:
- Glaucoma
- Enlarged prostate or urinary retention
- If pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a pharmacist or GP before use.
- Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
Possible Side Effects
Common:
- Drowsiness
- Dry mouth
Less common:
- Headache
- Blurred vision
- Constipation
If you experience severe side effects or signs of an allergic reaction (such as rash, swelling or breathing difficulty), stop use and seek medical advice immediately.
Storage
- Store below 25°C.
- Do not use after the expiry date printed on the packaging.
