When you need urgent care instead

See a GP the same day, call NHS 111, or go to A&E if you have a high temperature or feel shivery, pain in your back or one side (loin pain), blood in your urine, nausea or vomiting, or if your symptoms are severe or not improving. This service is also not suitable for men, pregnant women or children with UTI symptoms, please see a GP instead, as these situations need a different assessment.
