Aloclair Plus Gel - 8ml

Aloclair Plus Gel (8ml) is a bioadhesive mouth ulcer gel that works by forming a protective film over the affected area in the mouth. This film helps cover exposed nerve endings, protecting the ulcer or lesion from external irritants and helping to reduce pain.

It is indicated for the management of:

• Mouth ulcers (aphthous ulcers) and aphthous stomatitis
• Minor oral lesions and chafing/traumatic ulcers including irritation caused by braces or ill-fitting dentures

The formulation includes sodium hyaluronate (hyaluronic acid) and Aloe vera, which support the natural healing of damaged oral tissues.

Pack size: 8ml.

• Apply 1–2 drops of gel to cover the whole mouth ulcer/lesion.
• Avoid direct contact of the applicator with the lesion (apply without touching the sore).
• Do not touch the lesion with the tongue for at least 2 minutes to allow the protective film to form.
• Close the cap after each application.
• Use 3–4 times daily, or as needed.
• Avoid eating or drinking for at least 1 hour after application.

Age suitability: Retailer guidance commonly states it can be used by adults and children aged 4 years and over; for younger children, or if unsure, seek advice from a pharmacist.

Do not use if you have a known hypersensitivity/allergy to any of the ingredients.

Do not use if the packaging appears damaged.

Store at room temperature. Do not freeze.

Keep out of the reach of children.

If you frequently suffer from mouth ulcers, seek medical advice (persistent/recurrent ulcers may need assessment).

If symptoms worsen, do not improve, or you notice unexpected irritation, stop use and speak to a pharmacist, dentist or GP.
