Becodefence Allergy Defence Adult Nasal Spray 20ml is a drug-free, steroid-free nasal spray designed to help prevent the development and worsening of hay fever and airborne allergy symptoms. It works by forming a protective microgel barrier over the nasal lining, helping to trap pollen, dust and other allergens before they trigger the allergic response.

This advanced Thixotropic formula becomes liquid when shaken for easy application and then settles back into a gel, adhering to the nasal mucosa to provide protection for up to six hours. It acts rapidly — typically within 3 minutes — making it an effective choice for daily seasonal allergy defence.

• Becodefence is suitable for adults and children aged 12 years and above and is often recommended for those who prefer a non-drowsy, drug-free alternative to antihistamines or steroid sprays.

Directions for use

Before use:

• Shake the bottle vigorously 4 times upright and 4 times upside down.
• Prime the pump by releasing small sprays into the air until a full spray is obtained.

Adults and children aged 12 and over:

1. Blow your nose gently to clear nasal passages.
2. Insert the nozzle into one nostril and apply 1–2 sprays.
3. Repeat in the other nostril.
4. Use 2–3 times per day, typically before exposure to allergens.
5. Effective for up to 6 hours per application.

Important:

• Use at the first sign of hay fever or allergy symptoms — early application helps prevent symptoms from developing.
• Not suitable for children under 12 years (use Becodefence Kids for younger children under supervision).

Common, mild effects:

• Temporary nasal irritation or slight discomfort
• Mild tingling or sneezing after application
• These effects are typically short-lived. If symptoms persist, discontinue use and seek advice from a pharmacist or doctor.
