Becodefence Plus Allergy Defence - 120 Sprays

Becodefence Plus Allergy Defence – 120 Sprays is a drug-free, steroid-free nasal spray designed to help prevent and relieve hay fever and airborne allergy symptoms such as sneezing, runny or blocked nose, and itchy or watery eyes. Its advanced dual-action thixotropic formula rapidly forms a protective microgel barrier on the nasal lining, helping to block allergens before they trigger an allergic response and reducing sensitivity to allergy triggers over time.

The therapeutic oil content supports comfort by stabilising mast cells, while the nasal barrier action helps defuse pollen and other common allergens within about 3 minutes of use. Each 20 ml bottle delivers approximately 120 sprays, providing long-lasting defence through pollen seasons and high-allergen days without medication-related drowsiness or steroids.

Becodefence Plus is suitable for adults and children aged 12 years and over and can be used alongside other allergy treatments if additional relief is required.

Active & Key Formulation Components:

• Bentonite Veegum – forms part of the microgel barrier
• Xanthan Gum – gel-forming agent
• Glycerol Monostearate – viscosity modifier
• Potassium Phosphate & Dipotassium Phosphate – buffering agents
• Glycerin – moisturising agent
• Sesame Seed Oil & Perilla Seed Oil – therapeutic oils with anti-allergic properties
• Spearmint Oil & Mixed Tocopherols (Vitamin E) – soothing and supportive agents
• Water & Preservatives (e.g., Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Potassium Sorbate) – formulation base and stabilization
• This drug-free and steroid-free formula does not contain antihistamines. 

Directions for use

Before first use:

• Shake the bottle vigorously — 4 times upright and 4 times upside down — to activate the thixotropic formula.
• Prime the pump with a few sprays into the air until a fine mist appears.

Application Instructions (Adults and children 12+):

1. Gently blow the nose to clear the nostrils.
2. Insert the nozzle into one nostril and apply 1-2 sprays while breathing in gently.
3. Repeat in the other nostril.
4. Use 2–3 times daily, ideally at the first sign of symptoms or before allergen exposure.
5. Each application can provide protection for up to 6 hours.

Side Effects

Becodefence Plus is generally well tolerated due to its drug-free profile. Some users may experience mild, transient effects, especially on initial use:

• Slight nasal irritation or tingling sensation
• Temporary sneezing or watery eyes
