Buscopan® IBS Relief Tablets are specially formulated to relieve abdominal pain, cramps, and discomfort associated with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).
They contain hyoscine butylbromide, an antispasmodic medicine that works by relaxing the muscles of the gut, helping to ease painful spasms and cramps in the stomach and intestines.
Buscopan IBS Relief is suitable for adults who have been diagnosed with IBS by a doctor and experience recurring abdominal cramping linked to bowel activity.

How to Use
Always take Buscopan IBS Relief exactly as advised by your pharmacist or doctor.
Recommended Dose
- Adults and children aged 12 years and over:
- Take one tablet up to three times daily
How to Take
- Swallow tablets whole with water
- Take before or during meals if symptoms usually occur with eating
Important Use Advice
- Do not exceed the recommended dose
- If symptoms worsen or do not improve after 2 weeks, consult your doctor
- Not recommended for children under 12 years

Side Effects & Warnings
Do Not Take If You
- Are allergic to hyoscine butylbromide or any ingredient
- Have glaucoma
- Have myasthenia gravis
- Have a bowel blockage or narrowing
- Have an enlarged prostate causing urinary retention
Speak to a Doctor or Pharmacist Before Use If
- You have unexplained abdominal pain
- You have severe constipation
- You develop symptoms such as fever, nausea, vomiting, blood in stools, or weight loss
Possible Side Effects
Uncommon
- Dry mouth
- Increased heart rate (tachycardia)
- Skin reactions such as rash or itching
Rare but serious
- Severe allergic reactions including swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat
- Difficulty breathing
- Fainting

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
- Do not take if pregnant unless advised by a doctor
- Not recommended during breastfeeding
Driving
- May cause blurred vision in rare cases. Do not drive or use machinery if affected.
