Hydrogen Peroxide Solution 6% 20 Vols 200ml is a liquid antiseptic solution widely used in first-aid and wound care. The active ingredient, hydrogen peroxide, releases oxygen when in contact with tissues and help loosen debris and microorganisms, supporting effective cleansing of minor cuts, grazes, abrasions and superficial skin injuries.
This solution is commonly stocked in pharmacies and first-aid kits and may also be used as a diluted mouthwash or gargle to help reduce microbial load in the oral cavity when advised by a healthcare professional.
Hydrogen Peroxide 6% 20 Vols should be used with caution and appropriate dilution in line with safety guidance.
How to Use
IMPORTANT: Follow all instructions carefully and refer to product packaging or consult a pharmacist for specific guidance.
✦ For Wound Cleansing
• Use as a diluted antiseptic: mix hydrogen peroxide with an equal volume of clean water (e.g., 10 ml peroxide with 10 ml water).
• Soak a sterile cotton pad or gauze in the diluted solution.
• Apply gently to the affected area to help remove debris and microbes.
• Reapply as needed during dressing changes.
✦ For Mouthwash (Diluted Only)
• Only use if directed by a healthcare professional.
• Dilute roughly 1 part solution with 5 parts water (e.g., 5 ml peroxide with 25 ml water).
• Rinse the mouth for 1–3 minutes, then spit out.
• Do not swallow.
• Not suitable for children under specified age unless advised by a clinician.
✦ General
• Store at room temperature, below 25 °C and protect from light.
• Use within recommended time after opening (see product label).
