Product Overview
Wax-coated interdental floss (25m) that glides between teeth without shredding to help remove plaque and support gum health.
Description
Colgate Total® Pro Gum Health Interdental Floss 25m is designed to help you achieve a more complete clean by removing plaque and food debris from between teeth and along the gumline, where a toothbrush can miss. Used daily, flossing supports gum care and helps reduce the risk of tooth decay by targeting hard-to-reach spaces.
Key features
- Wax coating (natural wax) to help the floss slide comfortably into interdental spaces.
- Shred-resistant / strong floss designed to move between teeth without fraying easily.
- 25 metres of floss in a compact dispenser for everyday use.
How to Use
- Break off about 45cm of floss and wind most around one middle finger, the rest around the other middle finger.
- Hold the floss taut between thumbs and forefingers.
- Guide gently between teeth using a back-and-forth motion. Avoid snapping into the gums.
- Curve into a C-shape against one tooth and slide gently under the gumline.
- Move up and down to clean the tooth side, then repeat on the adjacent tooth surface.
- Use a fresh section of floss for each tooth space and discard after use.
Routine tip: Use once daily (often best at night), then brush with fluoride toothpaste.
Ingredients
This is an oral hygiene product (not a medicine).
- Interdental floss with a coating of natural wax.
- Colgate also describes the floss as a single-filament PTFE design (resistant to shredding/fraying/tearing).
(Always check the pack for the most up-to-date material details for your specific batch.)
Side Effects & Warnings
- For oral use only. Do not swallow.

- Use gently. Forcing floss into very tight contacts may injure gums.
- Bleeding gums: mild bleeding can occur when starting flossing or if gums are inflamed. If bleeding is heavy, painful, or persists, seek dental advice.
- If you have braces, bridges, implants, or gum disease, ask a dentist/hygienist for the most suitable interdental cleaning method.
