Dextrogel Dextrose Gel 40% comes in a pack of 3 x 25 g tubes, each delivering approximately 10 g of glucose (d-glucose monohydrate) in a water-based gel. It’s formulated for immediate carbohydrate supplementation; the gel consistency makes it easy to swallow or rub inside the cheek for faster absorption. This product is especially useful for individuals managing diabetes, athletes, or anyone needing a rapid energy boost due to low blood sugar levels.

The tubes are compact and portable, ideal for keeping in a bag, car, workplace or first-aid kit. Dextrogel is gluten-free, lactose-free, wheat-free and free from artificial colours, making it suitable for a wide range of dietary needs. 

Directions:

• Adults and children where advised: Remove the cap and squeeze the required amount of gel into the mouth, ideally onto the inside of the cheek for buccal absorption, or swallow directly.

• A single 25 g tube contains ~10 g glucose; healthcare professionals often recommend 10–20 g carbohydrate for treating mild to moderate hypoglycaemia, repeated after 10–15 minutes if needed.

• Only use when the person is fully conscious and able to swallow safely.

• Water – gel base

• Citric acid (E330) – acidity regulator

• Gelling agent: sodium carboxy methyl cellulose (E466) – gel texture

• Preservative: potassium sorbate (E202) – preserves product integrity

• (May contain other acidity regulators such as tri-sodium citrate)
