Product Overview
Dioralyte is indicated for the replacement of essential body water and salts in the treatment of watery diarrhoea in infants, children and adults.
Description
Dioralyte® Sachets Citrus are an oral rehydration therapy (ORT) used to help prevent and treat dehydration caused by diarrhoea and vomiting.
Dioralyte® works by replacing essential fluids and electrolytes (salts and glucose) lost during gastrointestinal illness. This helps restore the body’s natural fluid balance and supports recovery during stomach upsets such as gastroenteritis, food poisoning, travel-related diarrhoea, and vomiting.
The citrus flavour helps improve taste and palatability, encouraging regular fluid intake, particularly when appetite or tolerance for fluids is reduced. Dioralyte® is suitable for adults, children and the elderly when used as directed.
Key features:
- Helps prevent and treat dehydration
- Replaces lost fluids and essential electrolytes
- Suitable for diarrhoea and vomiting
- Appropriate for adults, children and elderly patients
