Driclor Antiperspirant Roll On Deodorant - 75ml

Driclor Antiperspirant Roll-On Deodorant 75ml is a high-strength clinical antiperspirant used to help control excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis). It is designed for people who experience persistent or severe sweating that is not adequately controlled by standard deodorants or antiperspirants.

Driclor works by temporarily blocking the sweat glands, significantly reducing perspiration when used as directed. It is commonly recommended in pharmacy practice for sweating of the:

• Underarms
• Hands
• Feet

This product is fragrance-free and does not mask odour. Instead, it targets the cause of sweating directly. With correct use, many people achieve effective sweat control with infrequent maintenance applications.

Always use this medicine exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as advised by a pharmacist.

Initial treatment phase:

• Apply at night, before going to bed
• Ensure the skin is clean, completely dry and unbroken
• Roll on a thin layer to the affected area
• Allow to dry and leave on overnight

The following morning:

• Wash the treated area thoroughly with soap and water
• Do not reapply during the day

Frequency:

• Use nightly until sweating is controlled (usually a few applications)
• Once control is achieved, reduce use to once or twice weekly as maintenance

Important usage advice:

• Do not apply to wet skin
• Do not use immediately after shaving (wait at least 24 hours)
• For external use only
• If excessive sweating does not improve, seek advice from a pharmacist or GP.

Active ingredient:

• Aluminium Chloride Hexahydrate 20% w/w

Other ingredients include:

• Alcohol base (to aid application and evaporation)

Do not use Driclor:

• On broken, irritated or inflamed skin
• Immediately after shaving
• If you are allergic to aluminium chloride or any of the ingredients

Warnings & precautions:

• Skin irritation may occur, particularly during initial use
• If irritation develops, stop treatment temporarily and resume once the skin has recovered
• Use the lowest effective frequency to maintain control

Possible side effects:

• Itching, stinging or redness at the application site
• Skin irritation, particularly if applied too frequently or to damp skin

If severe irritation, rash or persistent discomfort occurs, discontinue use and seek medical advice.
