Epimax Excetra Cream 500g is a light, non-greasy emollient cream designed to hydrate, soften and protect dry, sensitive and eczema-prone skin. It is commonly recommended in pharmacy and primary care for the management and prevention of eczema, dermatitis and other dry skin conditions.

The cream helps to restore the skin’s natural barrier, reducing moisture loss while keeping the skin comfortable and supple. Its easily absorbed formulation makes it suitable for frequent application throughout the day, particularly where heavier ointments are not tolerated.

• As a soap substitute for washing
• As part of a long-term emollient skincare routine

It is fragrance-free and suitable for sensitive skin, including adults, children and infants, making it ideal for everyday family use.

Always use as directed or as advised by a healthcare professional.

As a leave-on emollient:

• Apply generously to the affected areas
• Use at least twice daily, or as often as required
• Smooth gently onto the skin in the direction of hair growth

As a soap substitute:

• Apply to wet skin when washing
• Rinse off with warm water
• Pat the skin dry gently with a towel

Additional advice:

• Apply regularly, especially after bathing
• Avoid rubbing the skin vigorously
• For external use only

Active/Emollient Ingredients:

• White Soft Paraffin 13.2% w/w – occlusive emollient that helps reduce water loss.
• Light Liquid Paraffin 10.5% w/w – replenishes skin lipids and locks in moisture.

Other Ingredients:

• Emulsifying wax (SLS‑free), glycerol (humectant), cetostearyl alcohol, phenoxyethanol, ethylhexylglycerin, citric acid monohydrate, trisodium citrate dihydrate, purified water.

• Avoid contact with eyes; if contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water
• Do not apply to broken or infected skin unless advised by a healthcare professional
• This product contains paraffin which can soak into clothing, bedding and dressings, increasing the risk of fire. Keep away from naked flames and other ignition sources.
