Product Overview
Exorex Lotion 100 ml is a topical coal tar lotion designed to help relieve symptoms of mild to moderate psoriasis, including itching, scaling and thickened skin, suitable for adults and children over 2 years.
Description
Exorex Lotion – 100 ml is a topical dermatological lotion licensed for the symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate psoriasis affecting the skin and scalp. It contains a 5 % w/w cutaneous emulsion of coal tar solution, which helps to relieve itching, promote softening of the outer layer of skin and reduce excessive scaling and thickening associated with psoriatic lesions.
Coal tar has mild antiseptic, antipruritic and keratoplastic effects, meaning it can help relieve itching, slow abnormal skin cell proliferation and support skin healing. Exorex Lotion is often used as part of a daily management routine for psoriasis and can be incorporated alongside moisturisers to maintain skin hydration.
