EPIMAX Oatmeal Cream 500g is a light emollient cream designed to moisturise, soothe and protect dry and sensitive skin. It contains colloidal oatmeal, which EPIMAX says helps with symptoms triggered by allergens in the environment while moisturising the skin to help protect against irritants. It is suitable for eczema, psoriasis and other dry skin conditions, making it a useful choice for regular daily skin care where gentle hydration and barrier support are needed.

The cream can be used as a leave-on moisturiser and also as a body wash in the bath or shower. Its lighter texture is intended for light hydration and protection of sensitive skin, helping to leave skin feeling soft, comfortable and nourished.

Apply EPIMAX Oatmeal Cream to the affected skin areas as frequently as required, smoothing gently into the skin in the direction of hair growth. If necessary, allow time for any excess to soak in. Adults, elderly people and children may use it as required to manage symptoms. Wash hands after use, unless treating the hands themselves.

For routine moisturising, apply regularly to dry or sensitive skin and reapply as often as needed, especially after washing. Smooth gently onto the skin rather than rubbing vigorously, particularly on skin that is sore, dry or prone to irritation.

As a body wash substitute, use as required when washing, bathing or showering, in place of ordinary soap where appropriate. Pat the skin dry gently after washing and reapply if needed to help maintain moisture and comfort.

Avena sativa (oat) kernel flour. EPIMAX patient information lists this as the main ingredient for Oatmeal Cream.

Water, glycerol, distearyldimonium chloride, isopropyl palmitate, liquid paraffin 3.5% w/w, cetostearyl alcohol, dimethicone, avena sativa (oat) kernel flour, allantoin, white soft paraffin 0.75%, isopropanol, octyldodecanol, phenoxyethanol, ethylhexylglycerin, sodium chloride, benzyl alcohol.

Free from:

SLS, lanolin, parabens, gluten and perfume. Vegan formula.

Do not use EPIMAX Oatmeal Cream if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. EPIMAX patient information identifies cetostearyl alcohol, phenoxyethanol, isopropyl palmitate and benzyl alcohol as known sensitising ingredients in this product.

Warnings and precautions:

For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes. If the product accidentally gets into the eyes, rinse well with water and seek medical advice. Important fire warning:

Do not smoke or go near naked flames. Fabric, clothing, bedding and dressings that have been in contact with this product can burn more easily and present a serious fire hazard.

No special precautions are required according to the manufacturer’s patient information.

Storage:

Store below 25°C. Do not freeze. EPIMAX states a shelf life of 36 months for 500g tottles and advises using the product within 3 months of opening.
