Description
What is FlexiSEQ Max Strength ?
FlexiSEQ Max Strength is a drug-free gel for osteoarthritis joint pain, and it works differently to almost everything else on the pharmacy shelf. Instead of masking pain with an anti-inflammatory drug, it physically lubricates the cartilage inside the joint to ease pain and stiffness and improve joint function, at any stage of osteoarthritis.
The science behind it is called SEQ Tech™. Each tube contains billions of tiny, plant-based droplets known as Sequessomes™. When the gel dries on your skin, these flexible droplets pass through it and travel to the joint, where they settle on the cartilage surface and form a protective, lubricating layer. Max Strength is FlexiSEQ's most concentrated formula, made for adults diagnosed with osteoarthritis who need the strongest level of relief in the range.
Because there's no drug in it, FlexiSEQ Max Strength can be used long term, well beyond the 14-day limit that applies to many topical painkillers, and alongside your existing medication, with no known drug interactions. That makes it a genuinely useful option if NSAIDs don't agree with you, if you're already juggling several medicines, or if you simply want to avoid systemic side effects.
It's clinically proven to relieve joint pain and improve mobility, suitable for all joints (knees, hips, hands, shoulders and more), and comes as a white-to-yellow gel with a light citrus scent in 30g, 50g and 100g tubes.

How to Use
FlexiSEQ Max Strength isn't applied like a normal gel, and this bit matters: apply it wrong and you won't get the full benefit. The golden rule: spread it on, don't rub it in, and let it air dry.
How to apply:
Spread a thin, even layer of gel around the affected joint. Do not massage or rub it into the skin.
Leave it to air dry, this takes around 10 minutes. Don't cover the area with clothing while it dries.
Apply twice a day, morning and evening, every day.
Application by joint :
Knees — apply a line of gel as long as your index finger to the back and sides of the knee. Don't apply it to the kneecap.
Hips — find the edge of your hip bone and apply a finger-length line of gel to the soft tissue just below it, where you can no longer feel bone.
Hands — apply a pea-sized amount to each affected knuckle and spread evenly. Avoid washing your hands for 10-15 minutes.
Shoulders — apply a finger-length line of gel over the painful area, avoiding the bone and shoulder blade.
Good to know:
Relief can start within 2 days, though it may take up to 14 days of consistent use to feel the full effect. Stick with it.
Want it to dry faster? Warm the skin before applying, or use a hairdryer on a medium setting afterwards. This cuts drying time to around 2 minutes.
Wash your hands after applying, unless your hands are what you're treating, in which case wait 10-15 minutes first.
Don't use other creams, moisturisers or massage oils on the area until the gel has fully dried.
Never apply more than 4 times in any 24-hour period.
Replace the cap after use, store at room temperature (8-25°C) and use within three months of opening.

Warnings & Side Effects
FlexiSEQ Max Strength is drug-free and generally well tolerated. No serious side effects have been reported, and there are no known interactions with medicines.
Possible side effects: In clinical studies, some users experienced mild skin irritation at the application site, mainly redness, dry skin or a rash. These reactions were usually mild to moderate, cleared up on their own, and didn't require stopping treatment. Skin reactions can appear after around two weeks of use but typically settle within a few weeks of continued use.
If irritation persists: drop down from twice daily to once daily. If that doesn't help, pause use until your skin recovers (usually a few days), then restart. If the problem keeps coming back, stop using the product.
If you experience a serious side effect, or anything not listed here, speak to your doctor or pharmacist.
Do not use FlexiSEQ Max Strength if:
- You're allergic (hypersensitive) to any of the ingredients
- You have open wounds, broken or infected skin, or want to apply it to mucous membranes (mouth, nose, eyes)
- The tube is split, or the gel doesn't look or smell as described
- The product is past its expiry date
Warnings and precautions:
- For adults only, not for use on children
- Not tested on pregnant or breastfeeding women; speak to a healthcare professional before use if this applies to you
- Keep out of the reach of children
- Fabric (clothing, bedding) that's been in contact with the gel may burn more easily. Washing reduces build-up but won't remove it completely
- Do not exceed 4 applications in 24 hours
- Store between 8°C and 25°C and dispose of used tubes in line with local regulations
