Iglu Sugar Free Pastilles - 24 Pastilles

Iglü Sugar Free Pastilles (24 Pastilles) are a medicated, sugar-free pastille designed to ease discomfort and provide soothing relief from mouth ulcers and sore gums. The pastilles dissolve slowly in the mouth, releasing two antiseptic active ingredients to help protect the affected area.

Suitable for adults, the elderly and children over 3 years of age.

Active ingredients (per pastille):

• Benzalkonium chloride solution 1.11 mg
• Compound benzoin tincture 8.06 mg

Pack contains 24 pastilles (2 blister strips x 12). 

For adults, the elderly and children over 3 years:

• Dissolve 1 pastille in the mouth every 2 hours.
• Do not take more than 8 pastilles in 24 hours.

Important:

• Do not give to children under 3 years.
• You must contact a doctor or dentist if symptoms worsen or do not improve after 7 days.
• If you take too many, feeling sick (nausea) or vomiting may occur. Seek medical advice if the dose is greatly exceeded.

Other ingredients:

Sorbitol liquid (non-crystallising), acacia, peppermint oil, simethicone antifoam, vegetable oil, carnauba wax, water. 

Do not take if:

• You are allergic (hypersensitive) to benzalkonium chloride, compound benzoin tincture, or any other ingredients.
• The patient is a child under 3 years.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding:

• If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, speak to a doctor or pharmacist before use.

Important ingredient warnings:

• Contains benzalkonium chloride, which may cause local irritation.
• Contains sorbitol (a source of fructose). If you have been told you have an intolerance to some sugars, or you have hereditary fructose intolerance (HFI), talk to a doctor before use.

Possible side effects:

• Rarely, hypersensitivity reactions to benzalkonium chloride can occur, including difficulty breathing, swelling of the face/neck/tongue/throat, and rash. Stop taking and seek urgent medical attention if these occur.

Storage:

• Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
• Do not use after the “use by” date.
• Do not store above 25°C. Store in the original package to protect from moisture.
