Description
Kwells® Kids Tablets for Travel Sickness are designed to help prevent and relieve the symptoms of motion sickness in children, including nausea, vomiting and dizziness. They contain hyoscine hydrobromide, a well-established medicine that works by reducing the effects of movement on the inner ear.
The tablets are small and easy to take, making them suitable for use during car, coach, boat and air travel. Kwells Kids can be taken shortly before travel and during journeys as needed, offering flexible and effective travel sickness control.

How to Use
Always follow the patient information leaflet or advice given by a pharmacist.
Dosage for travel sickness
- Children aged 4–10 years:
- Take ½ tablet 30 minutes before travel.
- Repeat every 6 hours if required.
- Maximum 2 tablets in 24 hours.
- Children under 4 years:
- Not recommended.
Administration advice:
- Tablets can be sucked, chewed or swallowed.
- Take before travel for best effect.
- Do not exceed the stated dose.
Ingredients
Active ingredient:
- Hyoscine hydrobromide 0.15mg per tablet
Other ingredients include:
Lactose monohydrate, sucrose, maize starch, magnesium stearate, flavourings.

Side Effects & Warnings
Warnings & Precautions
- Pharmacy-only medicine – suitability should be assessed by a pharmacist.
- May cause drowsiness or dry mouth.
- Do not use if your child:
- Has glaucoma
- Has difficulty passing urine
- Is allergic to hyoscine or any ingredients
- Avoid use with other medicines that may cause drowsiness unless advised.
- Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
Possible Side Effects
Common:
- Dry mouth
- Drowsiness
Less common:
- Blurred vision
- Constipation
If your child experiences severe side effects such as confusion, agitation or an allergic reaction, stop use and seek medical advice immediately.
Storage
- Store below 25°C.
- Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack.
