Lemsip Max Cold & Flu - 16 Capsules

Lemsip Max Cold & Flu – 16 Capsules is a maximum-strength combination medicine formulated to provide fast and effective relief from a wide range of cold and flu symptoms. It helps reduce fever and relieve aches, pains and nasal congestion, allowing you to continue with daily activities while recovering.

The triple-action formula contains paracetamol for pain and fever relief, phenylephrine hydrochloride to help clear blocked noses and sinuses, and caffeine to help combat fatigue and enhance pain relief.

Lemsip Max Cold & Flu Capsules are suitable for adults and children aged 12 years and over, making them a convenient option for short-term symptom management during colds and flu.

Adults and children aged 12 years and over:

• Take 2 capsules every 4–6 hours as required.

Maximum dose:

• 8 capsules in 24 hours.

Administration guidance (UK pharmacy-aligned):

• Swallow capsules whole with water.
• Leave at least 4 hours between doses.
• Do not exceed the stated dose.

Important advice:

• Do not take for more than 3 days without consulting a doctor or pharmacist.
• Do not take with other medicines containing paracetamol.

Warnings & Precautions

• Contains paracetamol – do not take with any other paracetamol-containing products.
• Avoid drinking excessive amounts of caffeine-containing beverages (e.g. coffee, tea, energy drinks) while taking this medicine.
• Use with caution if you have high blood pressure, heart disease, thyroid problems, diabetes or glaucoma.

Do NOT take this medicine if you:

• Are allergic to paracetamol, phenylephrine, caffeine or any other ingredient.
• Have severe liver disease.
• Are taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or have taken them within the last 14 days.

Possible Side Effects

Like all medicines, Lemsip Max Cold & Flu can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them. These may include:

• Nausea or stomach discomfort
• Nervousness or restlessness
• Difficulty sleeping
• Increased heart rate or blood pressure
• Rare allergic reactions such as rash or swelling

Overdose Warning

Taking more than the recommended dose can cause serious liver damage, even if you feel well. In case of overdose, seek immediate medical attention.
