Lemsip Max Day & Night Cold & Flu - 24 Capsules

Lemsip Max Day & Night Cold & Flu – 24 Capsules is a maximum-strength, dual-action cold and flu medicine designed to provide effective daytime and night-time relief from multiple symptoms.

The pack contains two types of capsules:

• Day capsules for use during the day, formulated to relieve symptoms without causing drowsiness
• Night capsules designed to relieve symptoms at night and help promote more restful sleep

It helps relieve:

• Fever and raised temperature
• Headache
• Aches and pains
• Sore throat discomfort
• Blocked or stuffy nose
• Night-time cold and flu symptoms that disturb sleep

Suitable for adults and children aged 12 years and over, Lemsip Max Day & Night is intended for short-term use only.

Day Capsules

Adults and children aged 12 years and over:

• Take 2 Day capsules every 4–6 hours as required.

Night Capsules

• Take 2 Night capsules at bedtime.

Maximum daily dose

• Do not take more than 8 capsules (Day + Night combined) in 24 hours.

UK pharmacy-aligned guidance:

• Swallow capsules whole with water.
• Leave at least 4 hours between doses.
• Do not take with other medicines containing paracetamol.
• Avoid alcohol when taking Night capsules.
• If symptoms persist for more than 3 days, worsen, or are severe, seek medical advice.

Day Capsules – Active Ingredients

• Paracetamol – pain relief and fever reduction
• Phenylephrine hydrochloride – nasal decongestant

Night Capsules – Active Ingredients

• Paracetamol – pain relief and fever reduction
• Phenylephrine hydrochloride – nasal decongestant
• Diphenhydramine hydrochloride – antihistamine that helps relieve symptoms and may cause drowsiness

Other Ingredients:

• Capsule shell (gelatin)
• Glycerol
• Colourings
• Purified water

Warnings & Precautions

• Contains paracetamol. Do not exceed the stated dose.
• Do not take with any other paracetamol-containing products.
• Night capsules may cause drowsiness.

Do NOT take this medicine if you:

• Are allergic to paracetamol, phenylephrine, diphenhydramine, or any other ingredient.
• Have severe liver or kidney disease.
• Have severe high blood pressure or heart disease.
• Are taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or have taken them within the last 14 days.
• Are under 12 years of age.

Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if you:

• Have asthma, diabetes, thyroid problems, glaucoma or prostate problems.
• Are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Possible Side Effects

Like all medicines, Lemsip Max Day & Night can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them. These may include:

• Drowsiness (night capsules)
• Dizziness or headache
• Nausea or stomach upset
• Palpitations or raised blood pressure (rare)
• Allergic reactions such as rash or itching (rare)

⚠️ Seek immediate medical advice if too much paracetamol is taken, even if you feel well, as serious liver damage can occur.

• Store below 25 °C.
