Lemsip Max Day & Night Cold & Flu Relief - 16 Capsules

Lemsip Max Day & Night Cold & Flu Relief – 16 Capsules is a maximum-strength cold and flu treatment designed to provide around-the-clock relief from multiple symptoms.

The pack contains Day capsules for daytime use to relieve symptoms without causing drowsiness, and Night capsules formulated to ease symptoms at bedtime and help you rest.

Together, they help relieve:

• Fever
• Headache
• Body aches and pains
• Sore throat
• Nasal and sinus congestion

Suitable for adults and young people aged 16 years and over, Lemsip Max Day & Night is intended for short-term use during cold and flu illness.

Adults and young people aged 16 years and over:

Day Capsules

• Take 2 Day capsules with water.
• Use every 4–6 hours as required during the day.

Night Capsules

• Take 2 Night capsules with water at bedtime.

Maximum dose:

• Do not take more than 8 capsules in 24 hours (combined Day and Night).

UK pharmacy-aligned guidance:

• Leave at least 4 hours between doses.
• Do not take with other medicines containing paracetamol.
• Avoid alcohol, especially when taking Night capsules.
• If symptoms persist for more than 3 days, worsen, or are severe, seek medical advice.

Day Capsules – Active Ingredients

• Paracetamol – pain relief and fever reduction
• Phenylephrine hydrochloride – nasal decongestant
• Caffeine – helps reduce fatigue and maintain alertness

• Diphenhydramine hydrochloride – antihistamine that helps relieve symptoms and may cause drowsiness

Other Ingredients:

• Gelatin capsule shell

Warnings & Precautions

• Contains paracetamol. Do not exceed the stated dose.
• Do not take with other paracetamol-containing medicines.
• Night capsules may cause drowsiness.

Do NOT take this medicine if you:

• Are allergic to paracetamol, phenylephrine, diphenhydramine, caffeine, or any ingredient.
• Have severe liver or kidney disease.
• Have severe high blood pressure, heart disease, glaucoma or prostate problems.
• Are taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or have taken them within the last 14 days.
• Are under 16 years of age.

Possible Side Effects

Like all medicines, Lemsip Max Day & Night can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them. These may include:

• Drowsiness or dizziness (especially with Night capsules)
• Nausea or stomach upset
• Headache
• Dry mouth or blurred vision
• Rare allergic reactions such as rash or itching
