These lancets are compatible with Microlet® lancing devices, including Microlet®2 and Microlet®NEXT, and can also be used with most other standard lancing devices on the market.

1. Prepare for sampling: Wash and dry hands thoroughly before blood sampling. Clean the fingertip or approved alternate site with soap and warm water or a disinfectant wipe.
2. Load a lancet: Remove one Microlet lancet from its packaging and insert it into a compatible lancing device (e.g., Microlet2, MicroletNEXT or other standard devices that accept 28 G lancets).
3. Adjust depth (if available): Set the lancing device depth according to your skin thickness and comfort level.
4. Perform finger-prick: Press the lancing device firmly against the side of the fingertip and activate the device to obtain a fresh drop of capillary blood.
5. Collect sample: Use the blood drop immediately with your blood glucose metre or diagnostic device according to that product’s instructions.
6. Dispose carefully: After use, do not reuse the lancet. Dispose of used lancets in an approved sharps container as per clinical waste guidance.
