Product Overview
Pharmacy-strength eye drops to clear redness and soothe minor eye irritation caused by dust, wind, smoke, swimming, air pollution or screen/reading strain. For adults and children aged 12+.
Description
Murine Irritation & Redness Relief Eye Drops (10ml) are a fast-acting, long-lasting eye drop solution used to clear redness and soothe eyes irritated by everyday triggers such as dusty atmospheres, wind, swimming, smoke, air pollutants, or close work like reading and computer use.
It contains naphazoline hydrochloride 0.012% w/v, a local vasoconstrictor that works by narrowing small blood vessels in the eye, helping reduce redness and swelling associated with minor irritation.
Important: This product is for intermittent or occasional use only. Continued use may increase eye redness. You must speak to a doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse after 24 hours.
How to Use
For use in the eyes only.
Adults and children aged 12 years and over
- Instil 1 or 2 drops into each eye, 2 or 3 times daily.
- Do not use more than 4 doses in 24 hours.
- If redness increases or there is no improvement after 24 hours, stop using and seek medical advice.
Directions (good pharmacy practice)
- Wash hands before use.
- Avoid touching the dropper tip on any surface (helps prevent contamination).
- Tilt head back and gently squeeze in the drops.
- Replace the cap straight after use.
Using with other eye products
- Wait at least 15 minutes between these drops and any other eye product; eye ointment should be applied last.
Contact lenses
- Contains benzalkonium chloride, which can be absorbed by soft contact lenses and may change their colour. Remove lenses before use and wait 15 minutes before reinserting.
In-use period
- Discard any unused contents 1 month after first opening.
