Optrex Multi Action Eye Wash - 300ml

Optrex Multi Action Eye Wash (300ml) is a pH-balanced eye wash designed to cleanse and soothe tired, uncomfortable and irritated eyes. Modern living (computer work, driving, air-conditioning) and everyday particles (dust, pollen, grit and smoke) can leave eyes feeling irritated or gritty. This eye wash helps wash away external contaminants to leave eyes feeling cleansed, soothed and refreshed.

For use in the eyes only. Adults and children: use as often as needed.

Using the Flexiseal eye bath

1. Wash hands.
2. Rinse the eye bath with the product before use.
3. Fill the eye bath until it is about one-third full.
4. Bend your head slightly forward, holding the eye bath by its base.
5. Place the eye bath over your eye. Slowly raise your head, opening your eye so the eye wash flows freely over it.
6. Gently rock your head from side to side for at least 30 seconds.
7. Tilt your head forward, remove the eye bath and discard any solution left in the eye bath.
8. Repeat for the other eye using fresh solution.
9. Rinse the eye bath after use.

Contact lenses

• Remove contact lenses before use and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting. 

• Isotonic buffered solution with HPMC and PHMB.

Do not use

• If the seal is broken before first use.

Hygiene & safe use

• Use a clean eye bath and do not share unless cleaned appropriately. If the eye bath is used by more than one person, sterilise it by boiling in water for 10 minutes.
• Discard any solution left in the eye bath after each use (do not reuse the leftover liquid).

Stop use and seek urgent advice (pharmacist/optometrist/GP/111) if you have:

• Eye pain, significant or worsening redness, swelling, discharge
• Changes in vision or persistent blurred vision
• Suspected eye injury/chemical splash, or a foreign body you cannot remove

Storage / in-use life

• Store between 5°C and 30°C, avoid direct sunlight.
• Use within 90 days of opening and do not use after the expiry date.
