Savlon Scar Prevention Gel is an advanced hydro-active colloid gel designed for the treatment of minor wounds such as cuts, grazes and superficial burns. It forms a protective gel layer that helps create an optimal moist healing environment, supporting the skin’s natural healing process and helping to reduce the likelihood of scarring.

How to Use
Always read the product instructions before use.
- Wash hands before and after treating the wound.
- Clean and dry the affected area gently.
- Apply gently using clean hands. Do not rub or massage.
- Use once or twice daily as needed.
- If required, cover with a plaster or dressing and change daily.
Removing the gel: It can be removed simply with wet gauze (wash hands before and after).

- Purified water (matrix)
- Propylene glycol (humectant)
- Carbopol (viscosity enhancer)
- Cross-linked CMC (hydrocolloid particles that swell on absorption)
- pH adjuster (e.g., triethanolamine is referenced as a pH adjuster in product information)
Side Effects & Warnings
Do not use
- If you are allergic/sensitive to any ingredients.
- On extensive weeping wounds or infected wounds unless advised by a doctor (you may need additional treatment).
- After the expiry date shown on the pack.
Avoid contact with
- Eyes / eyelids (if it gets into the eyes, rinse with running water and seek medical advice).
- The middle ear and certain sensitive tissues (as per product cautions).
Possible side effects
- Side effects such as irritation or allergic reactions are rare. Stop use if irritation occurs.
- Seek urgent help if you notice signs of a serious allergic reaction such as breathing difficulty, swelling of the face/tongue/throat, dizziness, or a widespread rash.
Seek medical advice if
- The wound becomes more red, swollen or painful, or doesn’t start to heal within a few days.
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding and want to use this product.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place and keep in original packaging.
