SolpaOne 1000mg Soluble Tablets - 12 Tablets

SolpaOne 1000mg Soluble Tablets are effervescent paracetamol tablets designed to dissolve in water for a drinkable dose. They relieve mild to moderate pain and fever.

Can be used to relieve: headache, migraine, neuralgia, toothache, period pain, rheumatic aches and pains, sore throat, and symptoms of colds and flu (including fever).

Each soluble tablet contains paracetamol 1000mg (high-strength single-tablet dose).

Suitable for: Adults and adolescents aged 16 years and over weighing more than 50kg.

Always use exactly as described in the leaflet or as advised by your pharmacist.

Adults and adolescents (16+ and over 50kg):

• Take 1 tablet (1000mg) dissolved in a full glass of water. Allow to dissolve completely, then drink straight away.
• Repeat every 6 hours as needed.
• Maximum: 4 tablets in 24 hours (4000mg paracetamol).

Do not use in:

• Children and adolescents under 16 years, or anyone under 50kg.

When to seek advice:

• You must talk to a doctor if you do not feel better or feel worse after 3 days.
• Stop treatment and consult a doctor if pain lasts more than 5 days or fever lasts more than 3 days, worsens, or other symptoms appear.

Storage after mixing:

• Once dissolved, the solution should be consumed within 8 hours (stored below 25°C).

Active ingredient (per soluble/effervescent tablet):

• Paracetamol 1000mg

Other ingredients:

Citric acid (anhydrous) (E330), povidone, sodium bicarbonate (E500), sodium saccharin (E954), sodium carbonate (anhydrous) (E500), simeticone (E900), polysorbate 80 (E443), aspartame (E951).

Important ingredient information:

• Contains 533.51mg sodium per tablet (high sodium content).
• Contains 10mg aspartame per tablet (source of phenylalanine).

Do not take if:

• You are allergic to paracetamol or any ingredients.

Do not exceed the stated dose. Taking more does not increase pain relief and may cause serious liver damage.

Overdose warning (urgent):

• If you take too much paracetamol, seek medical help immediately, even if you feel well, due to risk of delayed, serious liver damage.

Alcohol / liver warnings:

• Do not use paracetamol unless prescribed if you have alcohol addiction or liver damage. If this applies, do not take with alcohol.

Interactions (check before use):

Speak to a pharmacist/doctor if you take medicines such as warfarin/other anticoagulants, metoclopramide/domperidone, cholestyramine, probenecid, certain antiepileptics (e.g., carbamazepine, phenytoin, phenobarbital, primidone), rifampicin, isoniazid, lamotrigine, or flucloxacillin (rare but serious risk of metabolic acidosis).

Sodium / sweetener warnings:

• High sodium content: consider if you are on a salt-controlled diet.
• Contains aspartame: may be harmful if you have phenylketonuria (PKU).

Possible side effects:

Paracetamol is generally well tolerated at recommended doses, but like all medicines it can cause side effects. Stop and seek medical advice if you develop signs of an allergic reaction (e.g., rash, swelling, breathing difficulty). (See leaflet for the full list and frequency.)
