Systane Lubricating Eye Drops x 28

Systane Lubricating Eye Drops (Unit Dose) are preservative-free artificial tears supplied in handy single-use vials to help soothe and lubricate dry, tired or irritated eyes. They provide fast, effective relief from dry eye discomfort and are designed for people who may be sensitive to preservatives.

Systane uses a gel-forming “HP-Guar” style system: when placed in the eye, the liquid drop helps form a protective, moisturising layer over the ocular surface to support longer-lasting comfort, particularly when eyes feel gritty, dry or irritated due to environmental triggers (e.g., wind, dry air, screen time).

• 28 x 0.8ml hygienic unit-dose vials for convenient, on-the-go use
• Helps relieve symptoms such as dryness, irritation, burning, stinging and gritty/foreign-body sensation

For use in the eyes only.

• Instil 1–2 drops into the affected eye(s) as needed, then blink to spread the drop across the eye surface.
• Unit dose vial: twist/open the top, apply drops, then discard the vial after use (do not keep for later use).

Good practice (UK pharmacy style)

1. Wash and dry hands.
2. Open one vial. Avoid touching the tip.
3. Tilt head back, pull down the lower eyelid, instil drops.
4. Blink gently.
5. Dispose of the vial after use.

Contact lenses: follow the advice on your pack/optician guidance. If your eyes sting or vision blurs, remove lenses and seek advice. (Many Systane products are used before inserting and after removing lenses, but follow the specific pack directions for this unit-dose product.) 

Systane UD Lubricant Eye Drops contain:

• Hydroxypropyl guar
• Polyethylene glycol 400
• Propylene glycol
• Boric acid
• Calcium chloride, magnesium chloride, potassium chloride, sodium chloride, zinc chloride

Do not use

• If you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
• If the solution changes colour or becomes cloudy.

Warnings and precautions

• For external use only (eyes). Do not swallow.
• To reduce contamination risk, do not touch the vial tip to the eye, eyelids, fingers, or any surface.
• Single-use only: use one vial for one application session and discard after use.
• Temporary blurred vision may occur after instillation. Wait until vision clears before driving or using machinery.

Stop use and seek urgent advice (pharmacist/optometrist/GP/111) if you develop:

• Eye pain, vision changes, persistent/worsening redness or irritation, or symptoms that do not improve.
