Thea Thealoz Duo Gel Single Dose Vials - Pack of 30

Théa Thealoz Duo Gel is a sterile, preservative-free, phosphate-free eye gel designed to protect, hydrate and lubricate the surface of the eyes for the treatment of moderate to severe dry eye syndrome.

The gel formulation helps it stay on the eye surface longer than lighter drops, making it particularly useful in the evening and before bedtime for long-lasting comfort.

Key benefits

• Helps relieve dry eye symptoms such as discomfort, stinging, foreign-body (gritty) sensation and irritation caused by everyday factors including wind, smoke, pollution, dust, dry heat/air-conditioning, travel and prolonged screen use.
• Single-use vials provide hygienic dosing and are ideal for travel.

Pack size: 30 single-use vials (each 0.4g).

Always use as directed in the leaflet or as advised by your pharmacist/optometrist/doctor.

Recommended use

• Apply 1 drop to each eye, 1 to 4 times a day.
• Particularly suitable in the evening, just before going to bed.

Step-by-step (single-dose vial)

1. Wash hands thoroughly before use.
2. Open the foil sachet and remove one single-use vial (return the rest to the sachet).
3. Turn the vial upside down, gently shake and tap until the gel comes down.
4. Twist off the top tab to open.
5. Without touching the tip, squeeze until you see the drop, then instil one drop into the pocket of the lower eyelid.
6. Close the eye gently after application.
7. Throw away the vial after use, even if gel remains.

If using other eye products

• Leave at least 15 minutes between different eye products and use Thealoz Duo Gel last.

Contact lenses

• Remove contact lenses before use and wait at least 30 minutes before putting them back in. 

Device description / composition

• Trehalose 3%
• Sodium hyaluronate 0.15%
• Carbomer (Carbopol 974P) 0.25%
• Sorbitol, sodium hydroxide, water for injections

Free from: preservatives. 

For ocular use only. Do not inject and do not swallow.

Do not use if

• You are allergic to any ingredient.
• The packaging is not intact before first use, or the sachets/single-use vials are opened.

Hygiene / contamination warnings

• Do not touch the tip of the vial with anything (including the eye/skin) to avoid contamination.
• Do not reuse a vial once opened.

Possible side effects

• Rare possibility of mild eye irritation and ocular redness.
• As with any eye gel, you may experience temporary burning, stinging, foreign-body sensation and blurred vision for a short time.

Driving and machinery

• If your vision is blurred after use, do not drive or use machines until your vision clears.

When to seek advice

• Contact a healthcare professional if your symptoms get worse or do not improve.

Storage

• Store between 8°C and 30°C. Do not expose to direct sunlight or humidity.
• Keep unopened vials in the sachet to protect from light; once the sachet is first opened, remaining unopened vials can be used for up to 1 month.
