Description, Decription: Vaniqa (eflornithine hydrochloride) is a prescription medication for the reduction of unwanted facial hair in women. Designed for application to the skin, Vaniqa should only be used on the face and adjacent areas under the chin of affected individuals. Results can be seen as early as 4-8 weeks when used twice a day, at least 8 hours apart. Tested in women of multiple ethnicities.\n\nVaniqa works by slowing down the growth of facial hair. Vaniqa® 11.5% Cream is a prescription-only topical treatment used to reduce excessive facial hair growth (hirsutism) in women aged 18 years and over.
It contains eflornithine, which works by slowing down the activity of an enzyme involved in hair growth. When applied regularly, Vaniqa helps reduce the rate and thickness of unwanted facial hair, improving skin appearance and confidence. It is not a hair removal product, but is used alongside existing hair removal methods such as shaving or plucking.

How to Use
Always use Vaniqa exactly as prescribed by your doctor or as advised by your pharmacist.
Recommended Use
- Apply twice daily, at least 8 hours apart
- If irritation occurs, reduce to once daily until symptoms improve
Application Instructions
- Clean and dry the affected area before use
- Apply a thin layer and rub in thoroughly until absorbed
- Avoid washing the area for at least 4 hours after application
- Wash hands after use
- Wait at least 5 minutes before applying make-up or sunscreen
Important Use Advice
- Wait 5 minutes after shaving or hair removal before applying
- Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, or inside the nose
- Results may take up to 8 weeks
- If no improvement is seen after 4 months, consult your doctor
- Hair growth may return within 8 weeks if treatment is stopped

Warnings & Precautions

- Use only on facial skin as directed
- Avoid applying to broken or irritated skin
