Description
Zovirax Cold Sore Cream Tube 2 g is a clinically recognised topical antiviral treatment for cold sores (herpes labialis) caused by the herpes simplex virus. It contains aciclovir 5% w/w, a potent antiviral that helps stop the virus multiplying at the site of infection, supporting a shorter duration of symptoms, reduced discomfort and faster healing when applied promptly at the first signs of a cold sore (tingling, itching, redness).
This smooth cream absorbs quickly and can be used on cold sores on the lips and surrounding skin, helping to restore healthy skin more rapidly than leaving the outbreak untreated.
