Anhydrol Forte Roll-On Solution 60ml is a high-strength clinical antiperspirant used in the management of excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis). It is designed for people whose sweating is severe, persistent or not adequately controlled by standard antiperspirants.

The product contains aluminium chloride hexahydrate, which works by temporarily blocking the sweat glands, leading to a significant reduction in perspiration when used correctly. With effective initial use, many individuals only require infrequent maintenance applications to maintain control.

Anhydrol Forte is commonly recommended in pharmacy practice for excessive sweating of the:

• Hands
• Feet

Always use this medicine exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as advised by a pharmacist.

Initial treatment phase:

• Apply at night, before going to bed
• Ensure the skin is clean, completely dry and unbroken
• Apply a thin layer to the affected area using the roll-on
• Allow to dry fully before dressing
• Leave on overnight

The following morning:

• Wash the area thoroughly with soap and water
• Do not reapply during the day

Maintenance use:

• Once sweating is controlled, reduce use to once or twice weekly, or as required to maintain effect

Important usage advice:

• Do not apply to damp skin
• Do not use immediately after shaving (wait at least 24 hours)
• Use the lowest effective frequency
• For external use only
• If excessive sweating does not improve, seek advice from a pharmacist or GP.

Do not use Anhydrol Forte:

• On broken, irritated or inflamed skin

Warnings & precautions:

• Skin irritation, itching or stinging may occur, particularly during early use
• If irritation develops, stop treatment temporarily and resume once the skin has recovered
• Consider reducing frequency or seeking advice if irritation persists

Possible side effects:

• Redness, itching or burning at the application site
• Skin irritation if applied too frequently or to damp skin
