Product Overview
Extensively hydrolysed specialist infant milk for babies from birth with cow’s milk protein allergy. Complete nutrition when breastfeeding is not possible.
Description
Aptamil Pepti 1 From Birth Milk – 800g is a food for special medical purposes (FSMP) specifically formulated for the dietary management of cow’s milk protein allergy (CMPA) in infants from birth onwards. It contains extensively hydrolysed proteins, where the whey has been broken down into smaller peptide fragments, reducing the likelihood of allergic reactions in infants who cannot tolerate intact cow’s milk proteins.
This formula is nutritionally complete when used as the sole source of nutrition or as part of a diet tailored by a healthcare professional. Aptamil Pepti 1 provides a balanced profile of carbohydrates, fats, vitamins and minerals to support normal growth and development while helping manage allergic symptoms. It also includes a GOS/FOS prebiotic blend, which may contribute to a healthy gut environment.
This 800g pack size offers extended support for daily feeding requirements and is intended for use under medical supervision only.

Side Effects & Warnings
Important Medical Warnings:
- Medical supervision required: Aptamil Pepti 1 must be used on the advice of a healthcare professional after appropriate diagnosis of cow’s milk protein allergy.
- Not a breast-milk substitute unless advised: While nutritionally complete, breastfeeding is recommended where possible; discuss feeding options with a health visitor or GP.
Allergy advice:
- Despite extensive hydrolysis, some infants may still react; monitor for any signs of allergic response such as rashes, vomiting, diarrhoea or persistent fussiness. Seek medical advice if these occur.
