Aptamil Pepti 2 - 800g

Aptamil Pepti 2 800g is a food for special medical purposes (FSMP) designed for the dietary management of cow’s milk protein allergy (CMPA) in babies from 6 months of age, as part of a mixed weaning diet.

This extensively hydrolysed formula uses whey protein broken down into smaller fragments to reduce the likelihood of allergic reactions, while still providing complete nutrition for infants who require a cow’s milk-free feeding strategy. Aptamil Pepti 2 includes a blend of galacto- and fructo-oligosaccharides (GOS/FOS), a source of prebiotics that help support a healthy gut microbiome, along with calcium, iron, vitamin D and other micronutrients to support normal growth and development.

This 800g size offers an extended supply to support daily feeding needs during and after weaning for babies who are medically advised to use this formula.

Preparation Instructions (summary):

1. Wash hands and sterilise equipment before preparation.
2. Boil fresh drinking water and allow it to cool for no more than 30 minutes.
3. Measure the required amount of water into a sterilised bottle.
4. Use the scoop provided — level off with a clean, dry knife; do not press or heap the powder.
5. Add the correct number of level scoops of powder to the water.
6. Seal the bottle and shake vigorously for ~25 seconds to dissolve the powder.
7. Cool under running tap and check the temperature before feeding.
8. Feed immediately; do not store prepared formula.

Feeding guide:

Follow your healthcare professional’s guidance. Typically, one level scoop (≈ 4.8g) is added for every 30ml of water.

Storage after opening:

Keep the tin tightly closed, store in a cool, dry place, and use contents within 4 weeks of opening.
