Description
Avomine 25mg Tablets – 28 Tablets is a Pharmacy Medicine (P) containing promethazine teoclate 25mg, an antihistamine used for the prevention and treatment of travel sickness (motion sickness).
Avomine helps relieve symptoms such as:
- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Dizziness
- Vertigo
It works by blocking histamine receptors in the brain, helping to prevent the symptoms associated with motion sickness during travel by car, coach, boat or plane.
Suitable for adults and children aged 5 years and over.
Pack size: 28 tablets.
How to Use
For Prevention of Travel Sickness:
- Adults and children over 10 years:
- Take one tablet (25mg) the night before travel.
- If required, take a second tablet on the morning of travel.
- Children aged 5–10 years:
- Give half a tablet (12.5mg) the night before travel.
- A further half tablet may be given the next morning if necessary.
For Treatment of Travel Sickness:
- Adults: One tablet as soon as possible after symptoms begin.
Swallow tablets with water.
- Do not exceed the stated dose.
