Calpol Six Plus Suspension Sugar Free - 80ml

Calpol Six Plus Suspension Sugar Free 80ml is a paracetamol-based oral medicine designed to provide effective relief from pain and fever in children aged 6 years and over.

It is suitable for relieving:

• Fever (high temperature)
• Headache
• Toothache
• Sore throat
• Muscular aches and pains
• Aches and pains associated with colds and flu

This formulation is sugar free, making it suitable for children who need to avoid sugar. The pleasant strawberry flavour helps improve acceptance, and the liquid format allows for accurate dosing using a measuring spoon or syringe.

The 80ml bottle is a convenient size for short-term use or travel.

Always use this medicine exactly as described in the patient information leaflet or as advised by a pharmacist or GP.

Dosage:

• Children aged 6–8 years:
• 5ml, up to 4 times in 24 hours
• Children aged 8–10 years:
• 7.5ml, up to 4 times in 24 hours
• Children aged 10–12 years:
• 10ml, up to 4 times in 24 hours

Administration:

• Shake the bottle well before use
• Measure the dose carefully using a suitable measuring spoon or oral syringe
• Can be given with or without food

Important dosing advice:

• Leave at least 4 hours between doses
• Do not exceed 4 doses in 24 hours
• Do not use for more than 3 days without medical advice

Active ingredient:

• Paracetamol 250mg per 5ml

Other ingredients include:

• Maltitol liquid
• Glycerol
• Xanthan gum
• Strawberry flavour
• Purified water

Sugar free.

Important warnings:
