Cerumol Olive Oil Ear Drops - 10ml

Cerumol® Olive Oil Ear Drops are a medicated earwax softening treatment designed to help loosen, soften and disperse hardened earwax, making it easier to remove naturally or prior to ear irrigation or microsuction.

Unlike plain olive oil, Cerumol contains a combination of medicinal oils that actively break down earwax while also helping to lubricate and protect the ear canal. It is commonly recommended by UK pharmacists, GPs and audiology services as a first-line treatment for earwax build-up.

Always read the patient information leaflet before use.

Directions

• Wash hands before use.
• Tilt the head to one side.
• Instil 2–3 drops into the affected ear using the dropper.
• Gently massage around the ear to help the drops enter the ear canal.
• Keep the head tilted for a few minutes.
• Repeat in the other ear if required.

Frequency

• Use once or twice daily for up to 3–5 days, or as advised by a healthcare professional.

Important notes

• Earwax may initially swell before softening – this is normal.
• If symptoms persist, seek advice from a pharmacist, GP or audiologist.

• Chlorobutanol Hemihydrate
• p-Dichlorobenzene
• Turpentine Oil

Warnings & Precautions

• Do not use if:
• You have a perforated eardrum
• You have ear pain, discharge or infection
• You are allergic to peanuts (contains arachis oil)
• For ear use only.
• Avoid contact with eyes.
• If irritation or pain occurs, stop use and seek medical advice.

• Temporary ear discomfort or mild irritation (uncommon)
• Rarely, allergic reactions
