Clinitas Multi 0.4% Soothe Lubircating 0.4% - 10 ml are a gentle, preservative-free ophthalmic solution designed to provide fast and long-lasting relief from symptoms of dry, irritated or gritty eyes. With the highest commercially available concentration of sodium hyaluronate 0.4% (4 mg/ml)—a natural water-binding substance found in the eye—these eye drops help to stabilise and boost the tear film, supporting comfort and hydration throughout the day.

Each vial contains a sterile, preservative-free formulation in resealable 0.5 ml units, making them ideal for daily use, travel, contact lens wearers, or for those sensitive to preservatives. The resealable design allows safe use up to 12 hours after opening.

Active Ingredient:

• Sodium Hyaluronate 0.4% w/v (4 mg/ml) – a high-strength lubricant that mimics natural tears to maintain moisture and soothe the ocular surface.

Other Ingredients:

• Sodium Chloride – helps adjust tonicity.
• Sodium Citrate – buffering agent.
• Citric Acid Monohydrate – pH adjustment.
• Water for Injections – sterile base solution.

This formulation is preservative-free and phosphate-free, making it suitable for frequent use and for individuals with sensitivity to preservatives.

Directions for use

Instructions:

1. Wash and dry hands before handling the vial.
2. Twist and remove the cap from one vial.
3. Tilt your head back slightly and gently pull down the lower eyelid of the affected eye.
4. Hold the vial close to the eye without touching the eyelid or lashes, and instil 1 drop into the eye.
5. Repeat for the other eye if required.
6. Reseal the vial with the original cap and use within 12 hours of opening. Discard any remaining solution after this time.
7. Use 2–3 times daily or as directed by your optician, pharmacist or doctor.

ℹ️ If you miss a drop, it can be instilled as soon as you remember. Do not touch the tip of the vial on any surface to maintain sterility.

Side Effects

• Temporary blurring of vision may occur immediately after instillation due to the viscosity of the drops. Wait until vision clears before driving or operating machinery.
• Mild, transient irritation or a slight stinging sensation may occasionally be experienced.

If side effects persist or worsen, discontinue use and seek advice from your optician, pharmacist or GP.

Warnings & Precautions

• For external ophthalmic use only. Do not inject.
• Do not use if the vial is damaged before opening.
• Avoid touching the tip of the vial to the eye or eyelid to reduce the risk of contamination.
• Discard opened vials after 12 hours to maintain sterility.
• If you wear contact lenses, remove them before application and wait at least 10–15 minutes after use before reinserting.
• Consult your doctor, optician or pharmacist before use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or using other ophthalmic medications.
• If symptoms persist beyond expected relief or worsen, seek professional advice.

Storage:

Keep in a cool, dry place below 25 °C and out of reach of children. Do not use after expiry date.
