Description
Daktarin® Gold Cream 15g is a fast-acting antifungal cream designed to treat common fungal skin infections while providing rapid relief from uncomfortable symptoms such as itching, redness, soreness and inflammation.
The cream contains ketoconazole 2%, a broad-spectrum antifungal medicine that works by stopping the growth of fungi and yeasts responsible for infection. It is particularly effective for conditions such as athlete’s foot, ringworm, sweat rash and fungal infections of the groin or body.
Daktarin® Gold Cream absorbs quickly into the skin and is suitable for short-term use to clear infection and help restore healthy skin.

How to Use
- Wash and thoroughly dry the affected area before application.
- Apply a thin layer of cream to the affected skin and surrounding area.
- Use once or twice daily, as directed on the packaging.
Typical treatment duration is 2–4 weeks, depending on the infection.
Continue treatment for the full recommended course, even if symptoms improve earlier, to help prevent recurrence.

Side Effects & Warnings
- For external use only.
- Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
- Do not use on broken or severely inflamed skin.
- Do not use if you are allergic to ketoconazole or any of the other ingredients.
Possible side effects may include mild burning, stinging, redness or itching at the site of application. These effects are usually temporary. If severe irritation or an allergic reaction occurs, stop use and seek medical advice.
If there is no improvement after the recommended treatment period, or if the infection returns frequently, seek advice from a pharmacist or GP.
