Dermax Therapeutic Shampoo – 250ml

Dermax® Therapeutic Shampoo 250ml is a medicated coal tar shampoo designed to help manage scalp conditions associated with flaking, scaling, redness and itching, including scalp psoriasis, seborrhoeic dermatitis and persistent dandruff.

Dermax® contains coal tar solution and salicylic acid, which work together to:

• Loosen and remove thick scalp scales
• Reduce excessive skin cell turnover
• Relieve itching, redness and irritation
• Improve overall scalp condition

Salicylic acid helps lift and break down scales, allowing the coal tar to work more effectively at calming inflammation and slowing rapid skin cell growth. Regular use helps control symptoms and maintain scalp health.

Dermax® Therapeutic Shampoo is suitable for adults and children when used as directed and is commonly recommended as part of an ongoing scalp-care routine for chronic or recurring conditions.

• Wet hair thoroughly.
• Apply enough shampoo to cover the scalp.
• Massage gently into the scalp.
• Leave on for 3–5 minutes.
• Rinse thoroughly.
• Repeat if necessary.

Recommended use:

• Use once daily or several times weekly as advised by a pharmacist or GP.
• Frequency may be reduced once symptoms are under control.

Avoid contact with eyes. If shampoo gets into the eyes, rinse well with water.

• If symptoms do not improve or worsen after 2–4 weeks, seek medical advice.
