Dulcolax Suppositories - 10mg - 12 Suppositories

Dulcolax® Suppositories 10mg are a stimulant laxative used for the short-term relief of constipation in adults.

Containing bisacodyl, Dulcolax® works by stimulating the muscles of the bowel to encourage a bowel movement. When used rectally, it acts locally and rapidly, typically producing results within 15–60 minutes. This makes Dulcolax® suppositories suitable when fast relief is required or when oral laxatives are not appropriate.

The suppositories are intended for occasional use only and should not be used as a long-term solution for constipation.

• Remove the suppository from the foil wrapper.
• Insert one suppository gently into the rectum, pointed end first.
• Remain seated or lying down for a short time to allow it to work.

Dosage:

• Adults: One suppository when required

Do not use more than one suppository in a day.

Possible side effects may include abdominal cramping, rectal irritation, discomfort or diarrhoea, particularly with repeated use.

Important:

Do not use stimulant laxatives regularly or for prolonged periods. If constipation is persistent, recurrent, or accompanied by rectal bleeding, vomiting, severe pain or unexplained weight loss, seek medical advice promptly.
