Enterosgel Intestinal Absorben - 90g

Enterosgel® Intestinal Absorbent 90g is a medical device used to help relieve acute and chronic diarrhoea, including diarrhoea associated with food poisoning, gastrointestinal upset, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS-D) and antibiotic use.

Enterosgel® works differently from medicines. It contains an organic mineral hydrogel that acts as a selective intestinal adsorbent, binding toxins, bacteria, viruses and harmful substances in the gut. These are then removed naturally from the body via the digestive system, without being absorbed into the bloodstream.

Enterosgel® does not affect beneficial gut bacteria and does not interfere with digestion or nutrient absorption when used as directed. It is sugar-free, gluten-free and suitable for adults and children, making it a versatile option for short-term and supportive gastrointestinal care.

Enterosgel® can be taken neat or mixed with water.

Recommended dosage:

• Adults and children over 14 years:
• 15g (1 tablespoon), 3 times daily
• Children 6–14 years:
• 10g, 3 times daily
• Children 1–6 years:
• 5g, 3 times daily

Take Enterosgel® between meals.

Leave a 1–2 hour gap between Enterosgel® and other medicines, as it may reduce their absorption.

Drink plenty of fluids during treatment.

If diarrhoea persists for more than 48 hours, seek medical advice.

Active ingredient:

• Polymethylsiloxane polyhydrate (organic mineral hydrogel)

Possible side effects are uncommon but may include mild constipation or nausea.

Seek medical advice urgently if you experience:

• Severe or persistent diarrhoea lasting longer than 48 hours
• Fever, dehydration or blood in stools
• Severe abdominal pain
• Diarrhoea in infants or elderly patients

Important:

Enterosgel® does not replace oral rehydration therapy. Adequate fluid intake is essential during diarrhoea.
